The ACCEL Community Engaged (ACE) Curriculum is primarily intended for those interested in seeking or those who have received funding from the DE ACCEL program, likely as part of the pilot grant process. The goal of the community engagement efforts of ACCEL program is to create bidirectional relationships between communities and researchers and by doing so ensure that the health priorities of our communities are addressed by the research we conduct.
If you plan to submit a community engaged pilot proposal, consultation with the Community Engagement and Outreach Core (CEO) is strongly encouraged. To request a consultation, log into the website and complete a request for consultation form. If awarded, you and your community partner will be required to complete this course on Community Engaged Research as follows within the first 6 months of funding. This course will also be helpful in completing a competitive application.
