Chronic disease public health conference to be held in March

2022 Delaware Public Health Institute Annual Conference: “Chronic Disease: From Prevention to Management”

Join healthcare and public health professionals, state partners, and students across Delaware in the opportunity to learn about and engage in discussions on chronic disease detection, treatment and management.

This is a no-cost event thanks to the generous support of sponsors including the Delaware Division of Public Health, Quality Insights, We Work for Health, Grail, and the hosts, the Delaware Academy of Medicine/Delaware Public Health Association (DPHA) and the Delaware Public Health Institute (DPHI).

Speakers with a broad range of expertise will discuss strategies for detecting, managing and treating chronic diseases such as diabetes, substance use disorders and hypertension. Each session will include multiple panelists from a range of perspectives with a particular emphasis on the impact of social determinants of health on chronic disease along with equity and accessibility.

This event is eligible for continuing education credit. The medical society of Delaware designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit. In addition, up to 7 Certified Public Health Recertification Credits may be earned at this event.
