There is much that the ACCEL site has to offer and many ways we can help you, but we know that getting started and finding your way around can be quite daunting at first. Here are some notes that may help you to make the best use of the site.
Just Browsing
Are you here to browse and learn more about ACCEL and the Center for Translational Research (CTR) grant that supports us? If so, start with the About ACCEL menu. There, you can read the general description of the project, see who is on our advisory boards, view the organizational chart, read about the different Cores, view profile information about the many scientists, physicians, and community leaders and other people who are already a part of our program, and read about upcoming events sponsored by ACCEL, many of which may be open to the public. Soon you will be able to view the list of publications for all ACCEL members, but that feature is still under development.
Interested in Collaborating?
Are you a scientist, physician, or other professional affiliated with the University of Delaware, Christiana Care Health System, Nemours, or the Medical University of South Carolina, or possibly a community leader in Delaware who would like to become a part of the ACCEL project?
Your registration will give you immediate access to some additional features of the site, and start the process that will allow you to become more closely involved with one or more of our ongoing activities. One thing you can do as soon as you register is access the request forms for assistance from our biostatisticians and epidemiologists in activities like planning studies and grant proposals, analyzing results, and generally managing datasets whether small or large.
