SUMMARY:Tech Talk: Exploring the NIH All of Us Research Program
DESCRIPTION:Thursday May 7\, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm\nVirtual Teams Presentation \nThe NIH All of Us Research Program is a large and long-term effort to enroll over one million people across the United States to build a diverse health database. This presentation introduces the All of Us Researcher Workbench and highlights the program’s unique strengths\, including its diverse participant population and rich longitudinal multi-modal data spanning clinical\, genomic\, and social factors. We will also showcase how these data can be leveraged with AI-driven approaches to predict disease risk\, identify high-risk individuals\, and support more precise healthcare interventions. Key challenges will be highlighted along with the potential impact of this resource on future translational research. \nMeet the Speaker\n \n\n\nCagri Ozdemir\, PhD\nSenior Data Scientist\,Delaware State Universitycozdemir@desu.edu \nCagri Ozdemir\, PhD\, is a Senior Data Scientist in the Department of Public and Allied Health Sciences at Delaware State University and a CTR-ACCEL researcher. He served as a mentor for the NIH All of Us Research Scholar Program in 2024. His research focuses on developing biologically informed computational models to understand disease heterogeneity\, progression\, and predict clinical outcomes. His work bridges molecular biology and clinical outcomes through interpretable and scalable computational frameworks that support precision and translational medicine. \n\n\n \n\n \nMicrosoft TeamsJoin the meeting nowMeeting ID: 278 916 651 962 93Passcode: f2k4WX6a \n\n  \nDial in by phone+1 302-483-7154\,\,651707920# United States\, WilmingtonFind a local numberPhone conference ID: 651 707 920# \n  \nTo receive instructions on obtaining (1) CME credit for attendance\, please RSVP to Debra.Reese@ChristianaCare.org. \n\n\n\nWork supported by an Institutional Development Award (IDeA) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under grant number U54-GM104941 (PI:Hicks) and the State of Delaware.

SUMMARY:Tech Talk: Survey Design: Steps to Building a Research Survey
DESCRIPTION:Thursday June 4\, 2026 from 12:00-1:00pm\nVirtual Teams Presentation \nThis presentation will provide an overview of the key steps involved in planning for and designing research surveys. Speakers will discuss best practices to apply and provide examples of common pitfalls to avoid when designing surveys for research data collection. \nMeet the Speakers\n \n\n\nKim Williams\, PhD\nSenior Research AssociateChristianaCare \nKimberly D. Williams\, DrPH\, MPH is a Research Investigator at the ChristianaCare iREACH Research Institute. Her work centers on collaborating with health care providers and hospital leadership to integrate behavioral health care services into medical care settings and develop implementation strategies that translate evidence-based knowledge into practice and policy. Her current research focuses on reducing barriers and increasing access to treatment for opioid use disorder in the primary care setting. In addition\, Dr. Williams is a member of the Biostatistics\, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) core in the Delaware CTR program where she provides consultative support in implementation science and quantitative\, qualitative\, and mixed methods research. \n \n\n\nAlex Mapp\, MPH\nSenior Research AssociateChristianaCare \nAlexandra M. Mapp\, MPH is a career trained evaluator with over 15 years of experience in evaluation research. She specializes in translating complex data into actionable insights with a focus on health equity and community-engaged research. She is a Research Investigator with the Research Institute (iREACH) at ChristianaCare and a Research Associate for the Delaware Practice and Community-Based Research Network\, where her work supports initiatives aimed at improving patient outcomes and advancing health system performance. She holds a bachelors degree from the University of California\, Irvine\, and a Master of Public Health from Drexel University. \n\n\n\n\n \n\n \nMicrosoft TeamsJoin the meeting nowMeeting ID: 211 263 658 060 390Passcode: pa7rn2NV \n  \nDial in by phone+1 302-483-7154\,\,645221440# United States\, WilmingtonFind a local numberPhone conference ID: 645 221 440# \n  \nTo receive instructions on obtaining (1) CME credit for attendance\, please RSVP to Debra.Reese@ChristianaCare.org. \n\n\n\nWork supported by an Institutional Development Award (IDeA) from the National Institute of General Medical Sciences of the National Institutes of Health under grant number U54-GM104941 (PI:Hicks) and the State of Delaware.
