N3C Experience-User Perspective goals are to explain what the N3C is and why using it would benefit researchers and their work, how to access the data, and the tools available in the N3C.
Goals of this event:
- Define N3C;
- Describe why using N3C would benefit researchers and their work; and,
- Explain how to access N3C data and tools.
The National COVID Cohort Collaborative (N3C) Data Enclave is a resource available to investigators at all DE-CTR institutions.
The Enclave currently contains EHR data for over 18 million patients, of which 7 million are confirmed COVID-19 positive. The patients are from 77 healthcare organizations across the United States. The patient information is from 2018 to the present. Public datasets from several sources including the US Census and the Social Deprivation Index are available.
