ACTS Professional Development Roundtable: Justice Fueled Change
December 6 @ 1:00 pm – 2:30 pm
In response to George Floyd’s murder and the Black Lives Matter movement, most institutions responded expeditiously with varying degrees of success in shifting the climate of inclusivity. However, trauma fueled change is not sustainable. This roundtable is aimed at giving actionable tools to implement long lasting justice fueled changes. Led by special guest Tiffany Danielle Chisholm Pineda, Associate Director for Clinical Research and chair of the Diversity and Cultural Competence Council at the University of Florida CTSI, we will use role play, break out rooms, and brave spaces to be change agents for our institutions. You will be able to move from performative actions to sustainable change after attending this roundtable.
This virtual roundtable is free for members, $10 for non-member early career investigators, and $15 for non-members.
